BURGLARIES are on the increase in your area.

To help deter offenders please consider reviewing your home security. When you are at home, Remember. . . .

Lock your doors, even when you are inside.

Leave the lights and the television on, and close the curtains to give the impression the house is occupied when you are out.

Do NOT advertise you are away from home on your social media accounts.

If you are going on holiday, remember to redirect mail, cancel newspapers and milk deliveries and make sure your wheelie bins are taken in.

Think about getting some window alarms, door alarms and outside security lighting. A motion activated doorbell and perimeter cameras can instantly notify activity.
